John, I am finishing up a new audiobook right now about getting out of debt. It's loaded with tips about ways to reduce debt, saving money, etc. Some of the upcoming shows will address these topics too. I recommend that you communicate with your lender about your options, if you haven't done that already. Hang in there.

Thanks for the credit card debt tips. I think #1, sending in more money is most important. But do you have any ways to save on mortgages? I think a gov't program called Hope now? This site http://www.needhelppayingbills.com mentiones there is one, but doesn't have the details. I am behind on my mortgage, and need to deal with that before I lose my home. Then I will tackle debt issues. Thanks in advance.
