      <description>Great post!  It's so important to verify your funds are safe.  The second step is to find a bank that offers rewards (no sense in letting the banks hold it free of charge). 

Look into www.CheckingFinder.com, this search tool will identify FDIC backed community banks/credit unions paying up to 6% in reward checking.
